Athletic Training Volunteer Student Aid Program Application

The Athletic Training Volunteer Student Aid Program is available to any USF student interested in health sciences. This student aid program is designed to teach the clinical aspects of physical therapy, general orthopedics, and emergency medicine as practiced in the collegiate athletic training environment. The USF certified athletic training staff is dedicated to helping student aids learn and mature as professionals, teaching them the skills vital to success in any medical field.

Interested students may apply to the program by filling out an application form during the Spring semester, to be accepted for the coming school year. Once a student is accepted, he or she is required to complete weekly hours in the athletic training room and assist with game events. As well, a weekly in-service lecture is provided throughout each semester with appropriate topics for each level of the students.

To apply or inquire more about the internship program contact Associate Athletic Trainer John Badagliacco at jbadagliacco@usfca.edu.
